Bluebird day after a 4′ storm. 2000′ vertical descent- skier’s left of “The Hose” in the Sherwins Mountain Range in Mammoth Lakes, CA. I was strapped into my Burton Fish, wearing my old skoo GoPro HERO Helmet Camera (SD).

last time i did this i hit a tree that was buried under the snow and i dislocated my shoulder. this was in sweden. anyways, im doing it again when the snow drops this year

i live in VA and there is almost nothing here so most of the year i longboard and sometimes wakeboard and those two are damn near snowboarding for anyone else who doesnt have the best opertunities to snowboard, longboarding and wakeboarding

i call 3:05 an ATGS…area to get speed… but i hate the kids that think going fast as hell is the right way when using the mountain and enloying the run is what is the best

brilliant video, exactly what i love about boarding! do you use snow shoes for the ascent? Im a skier moving into a backcountry stuff but like the sound of snow shoes more than skis with skins but dont know if they are any good. I know some boarders split board and some snow shoe. Please educate me. Thanks
