    @CrossFeast
    I bought a ripstick, those are just like snowboarding! If you can ripstick, you can snowboard, I’d suggest buying one and learning how to do it. It worked like a charm for me!

    its a great video for newbies out there,cause i still see people that take their board off on the lits. Its so easy, like even in this video its very clearly shown

    There are some key important things that are missing here, like “When getting on the lift keep your snowboard nose up hill until your char starts to elevate and your board is off the ground” Otherwise your board’s edge will catch and drag and the lifties will yell at you the next time you get on.

    @Saskboarding From what I’ve seen usually, you just strap in your front foot before getting on the lift and kick your way to the loading zone (like a skateboard sorta) and sit with one foot strapped in and the other foot either hangin loose or underneath your board to keep the weight off your front leg. Don’t strap in while ridin or u might fall. haha

    I remember the first time I got off the chair lift. At the top where ur supposed 2 get off, me and my bud got our boards crossed when we landed and created a pile of like 4 people XD

    is it ok to strap up while ur on the lift so you can ride out easier? Ive never tried it but it seems like a good idea

    This was great advice but the one thing is when u get up towards greens and blues my local slopes only have like 10 ft of flat area with a lift the goes like 15 or twenty…

    In Loveland there aren’t any safety bars and if you fall off well GOOD LUCK!

    That’s a Quad right? The only time I have trouble is when they make us go up with 3 others and it gets crowded or if it’s a double with someone else. When we get off it’s just too much bodies and too much equipment and we all tumble and fall.

    also a tip, if u don’t have something that doesn’t clip to the board and ur boot and nothing to rest ur board on, you can rest your board on your other foot
