@REPOMAN24722 honestly, i agree with you in the s2000, the F series engine is crap. i personally go for either the Bseries or the Kseries, try test driving a b20 or a B18 engine mate, it has a good throttle response and good power output also. i agree SR engines are very nice it gives power throughout the rev-range. as for the exhaust, hondas are always ear piercing revving engines. but with a low tone exhaust like a HKS silent hi-power exhaust it will make a good sound

@beefcakemonsta he has a de with a cold air intake and exhaust system and that’s it no headers, he races them on the street drags. the SR can handle more power, theres a reason why it is the most popular 4 cylinder engine and is used in allot of engine swaps, I have driven a S2k once and its power delivery is crap compared to a SR and it sounds so crap, SR has a deep sound but not too deep, honda’s just sound like a string trimmer.

@REPOMAN24722 you explanation on how your friend rapes VTECS are to vague, you should explain it a bit more. like rape on the track or streets. and also how he raped it. and also did your friend tried to race a honda EG6 with a b20 swap engine? or a honda fit with a r18 or k20a engine? just because he rape some guys honda doesnt mean the engine is rubbish. it might be also the drivers fault.

its about alot of factors with speed Ive raped lots of people in my turbo ek w/gsr but ive also raped the same cars in my camaro z28 w/ ls1. Its more about driver, drivetrain, tires, power to weight ratio and engine

@ovietec010 hahahaha How come my friends stock SR20VE rapes all the VTECS DOHC or not, its power delivery is way better and it doesnt need an engine rebuild every 3 months like a honda, And it sounds like a real engine not like a honda which sounds like a Hedge trimmer. PLus all honda engines can only last around 45 seconds of redlining before they burst into flames, I have redlined my SR20 for 4 minutes without any problems many times. I beat vtecs without VVL.

@Ge0vone Think the Fit has a solid rear end as a EK has independent on all 4 corners… i think. My brain hurst from wondering why these kids are comparing corvettes and civics.

I’d love to see the suspension specs on the Honda Fit and how does it compare to the EK. Reason I ask, is because people say that the suspension on the EK is superior to that then found on the Fit.

its the tires… my bimmer did the same thing, ive went through lots of rubber scoring them off the fenders. then i dropped down a rim size and took off my camber kit and it stopped. they tuck inside the fenders now
