Top Creative Dating Ideas – Learn the Thrills and Spills of Dating With These Creative Dating Ideas
In this modern world of speed and hype, not to mention a very fast-paced way of living of the human race, people now always look to get the maximum out of any experience, and dating is no different. So the pressure is on to come up with some creative dating ideas when you set mode.
First you need to consider the nature of your date. If it’s a first date for example, you will want to go somewhere reasonably quiet because first dates are all about finding out about the other person, and the worst possible place to go is anywhere where the noise levels are so high that you need to shout at each other to be heard. Typical ideal first date venues are pubs, bars and restaurants, although some of these are quite loud so you may need to choose your exact venue carefully. Once you’ve established that your date is someone you want to go out with again, that gives you the green light to start your creative dating plans.
If its spills and thrills you are after, then adventure parks are great places to go to. Some of the rides will really test your endurance and you can have some fantastic fun.
Something a little more different is hot air ballooning. It’s one of those creative dating ideas that can give you a wonderful experience and has to be sampled to be fully appreciated. You get some absolutely stunning views and it’s so gentle and quiet that even the most nervous of people will find it totally peaceful and yet exhilarating at the same time.
Back on the thrills and spills route, another great experience is bungee jumping, though this would require a very outgoing partner. If you’ve never done it before, you’ll find it to be the ultimate of daredevil delight.
A parachute jump is another amazing lifetime experience. You get a similar rush to bungee jumping when you first jump out of the plane, but the glide down will be a never to be forgotten experience.
The great thing with these sort of dates is that they provide the element of “danger” and apprehension as well as a totally fulfilling experience. With these creative dating ideas, your lucky date is sure to be ecstatic and will remember and treasure both the date, and you forever.

Learn to Control Your Board and Sail

Learn to Control Your Board and Sail
Low speed winds can be annoying for a very simple reason: if the wind isn’t strong enough, you’re stranded on the beach praying to the gods of wind for the wind to pick up. High-speed winds can be annoying as well; perhaps bothersome is a better word. In strong winds, 25 knots and upward, it can be difficult to control your board.
When the wind is strong enough, it can turn your board into an airplane wing. Let me explain what I mean by that. As the wind flows over the top and bottom of the board, a low-pressure area forms above the board and a high-pressure area forms underneath the board which will result in the board lifting off. This can occur while you’re sailing at planning speed. What will happen to you? You will spin out.
Things don’t have to be that way. You don’t have to wipe out just because the wind is too strong. To stop your board from taking off, you must make sure that the windward rail isn’t higher than the leeward rail; if it is, your board will lift off. Keep the windward rail lower and the wind will push the board down. To keep the board in the water during gusts, press your heels down and lift your toes up (while in the foot straps of course). Again, the wind will push the board down when you do this.
Some novices describe their windsurfing sessions with words like “I had to fight the sail all the time” and “I felt very uncomfortable and my back aches”. The thing is that you shouldn’t feel uncomfortable when riding, you shouldn’t have back aches once you’re done, and you shouldn’t fell like your fighting the sail. If you are experiencing all these things, then you’re doing something wrong.
The most likely culprit for such problems is the riding position. The rider who complains that he has to fight the sail doesn’t have the right riding position. His hips and shoulders are most likely not parallel to the boom. It is a common mistake that is quite easy to correct.
Here is what you have to do to correct your posture: make sure your shoulders and hips are parallel to the rig. Make small adjustments to ensure that your shoulders and hips are always parallel to the rig. Think of it as dancing with the rig; the rig is your dancing partner. When you dance you are free to move your feet about and place your hands wherever you want. The same applies to windsurfing. You can move your feet and hands to correct and maintain a proper riding position. And speaking of a proper riding position, open your stance when you open the sail and angle it away from the centerline. Follow with your shoulders when you close your sail and sheet in parallel to the centerline.
If your body leans too much forward during a jibe it may be because you’re not putting enough passion into it. Because your body leans too much forward, you will find it difficult to hold the rig upright. If you put more passion into a jibe, stand tall with your hips over your forward knee, you will not lean forward so much. Consequently you will be able to more easily control the rig.

Snowboard Goggles and Snowboard Information and Learn about Snowboarding
Article by Michael Millbank
Snowboard goggles are probably one of the most underrated pieces of equipment that you will use; however, they are one of the most important pieces of equipment that you will need while snowboarding. Snowboard goggles can help to increase your visibility; but may also let the sun blind you, could fog up or could even hurt. All of these factors can affect your performance on the course. You can now see how goggles can be a very important piece of equipment and how imperative that it is that you have the right ones that are suitable for you.
Making sure that your goggles fit properly is a must. There is nothing worse than a pair of goggles that will hurt you during your whole day on the course or during that really important competition. This can really affect your performance. Making sure that your goggles fit is very important. If you are wearing a hat or a beanie or whatever the case may be, if your goggles have to fit around this, you will want to take that into consideration. Just because your goggles will fit properly around your bare head and fit comfortably does not mean that they will fit comfortably around your head with a hat on. Goggles have either a single lens or a double lens.
Even though single lens goggles are not as common today as what they used to be, they are still available. Single lens goggles will usually result in the lens fogging up on you and that is not good because you will definitely want to be able to see while you are snowboarding. Goggles which cost less than will usually consist of a single lens. Double lens goggles are your better option even though they will cost you more. You will have less of a chance of the goggle fogging up while you’re in that best ride of your life.
Snowboard goggles come in different lens shapes, such as flat pane or curved. The differences in the shapes will offer different features and not necessarily good features. The flat pane lens will usually block your peripheral vision and allow glare, which in turn will offer distortion in your viewing area. Curved lenses matches the curvature of the eye, which in turn allows you to have a better view when it comes to your peripheral vision and helps to cut out on glare and distortion. In other words, you will have a better view of what is actually going on during your ride. You can also get a set of snowboard goggles that will fit over your glasses, if you wear glasses. Normal goggles won’t do this, so you need to be aware of that.
You can a variety of different coatings on your lenses. For example, you can get polarization on your lenses which will help with the glare from the sun as well as glare from the snow. Mirrored coatings can also help with the glare.

Snowboard Wax and Snowboard Information and Learn about Snowboarding
Article by Michael Millbank
Snowboard wax is an essential item that you will want to purchase when you have a snowboard, and you must properly learn how to wax your snowboard. There are a wide variety of waxes that are available and you will want to choose the best one that will work for you and your board. Don’t forget about the waxing tools that you will need; they can make your job a little easier.
Snowboard waxes come in bars, sprays, and rub-on types. You will want to choose whatever you think will be the easiest for you to work with. Some people have problems with different types of waxes and other types work better for them. This is what you will need to determine for yourself. Waxing your snowboard is similar to that of waxing a surfboard; so if you have had experience in the past with waxes and surfboards, then use your experience with that sport in the sport of snowboarding.
If you don’t know how to wax your snowboard, you can purchase books that will teach you the ins and outs of waxing a snowboard. Don’t forget either that by doing a search on the internet you will be able to find guides and advice from others. You can also find videos that you are able to watch and learn firsthand on how to wax your snowboard. Depending upon your learning style, you will want to purchase, study, or view whatever is easier for you to understand and that will help to let you grasp the concept of waxing your snowboard.
Snowboard wax is fairly inexpensive to buy; however there are other products that you will want to purchase so that your job will be easier. For example, the purchase of a wax iron or grasp clamps that will help to hold your board, can prove to be in your best interest. If you are not for sure about what all you will need, don’t be afraid to ask someone who knows, whether it is a friend, your coach or the sales person at the snowboarding shop. Taking advice from others will help you to understand, help you to learn and help you to accomplish this task to the best of your abilities.
Yes, this can be a difficult subject to learn, but as with anything else, practice makes perfect. The more you perform the task of waxing your snowboard, then the easier that it will become for you each and every time that you do it. Don’t be afraid to do it as you will not tear anything up; however, if you don’t do it, then the life of your snowboard can be drastically reduced. Waxing your snowboard is definitely a must. There is no getting around it if you want your investment to last a long time. This is just normal maintenance for your board, just like changing the oil in your car. If you don’t change the oil, your car will not last very long. If you don’t wax your snowboard, then it’s a given that your snowboard will not last very long.
