“The Fear, Shark Week #1 ” – Karina Petroni : Escape Around the World
Posted by Extreme Motion on Aug.09, 2011, under Uncategorized
Karina Petroni, professional female surfer, adventurer and free diver raised in the Jungles and beaches of Tropical Panama, invites you to travel with her on an Escape Around the World. Throughout her worldwide surf adventures she has maintained a driving curiosity to experience and understand her oceanic environment and constant companions in the Sea… Sharks. Like most surfers, Karina has always feared sharks. She has been chased out of the water by 2 sharks during a surf contest, and has had friends bitten by sharks, some badly… As scared as she was, Karina still longed to see sharks in their environment. So Karina slipped her feet into her monofin, put on her mask and snorkel, held her breathe, and tried to relax as she descended deep under water… Join Karina on another Escape Around the World into the weightless, underwater world. Please go to www.karinapetroni.com, go to the CONTACT tab and write me your thoughts on this mini series. Thank you, Karina.
